A Class B Non-Medical Home Caregiver provides essential support and companionship to clients in their homes, assisting with daily activities while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Job Title: Class B Non-Medical Home Caregiver
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior to family members or supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass initial drug testing
- Able to pass a background check
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred but training will be provided
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and supporting clients.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- A compassionate demeanor, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others are crucial for success in this role.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible hours, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work primarily in clients’ homes, requiring travel between locations and possible travel to run errands for clients.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
