Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient in various software applications, and have a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment for clients and visitors.


Duties

  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks using multiple software systems and platforms.
  • Provide support in proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintain an organized reception area to ensure a positive first impression.
  • Handle customer inquiries with excellent customer service skills.
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.


Requirements

  • Previous experience as a medical or home care agency receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Calendars, Zoom, and more to be determined as we move forward.
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail.
  • abilities are a plus to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
  • Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality documentation.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships.

  • Clerical experience
  • High School Diploma or GED


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour


Expected hours: 35 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
